Orenda Recovery Ranch, INC 501c3 EIN number

88-3259999 was founded in 2022, with the primary purpose of providing the underserved and at risk populations of Maryland the opportunity to heal with the help of animals. This includes at risk youth, as well as adult men and women. Through Orenda Recovery Ranch our goal is to build a therapeutic program that incorporates the therapeutic benefits animals provide. Animal-assisted therapy is guided by a licensed and trained professional, who uses the animal as a tool. The process is goal-oriented, planned in advance, and structured. We would be able to utilize not only the well known “ equine facilitated therapy” but also therapy with the other animals to include the cow and donkey that we have on our ranch!

In addition to our therapeutic program we also provide rental assistance to low income individuals who are starting their recovery journey in certified homes. The Horizon Fund- representing hope and a bright future ahead, is funded solely off donations.
